Job description:

We are currently seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Restoration Technician to become part of our team. The selected candidate will perform restoration services in residential and commercial properties impacted by water, fire, mold, asbestos, or other types of damage. This position involves hands-on work using various tools, equipment, and techniques to return properties to pre-loss condition. Experience in the restoration field is preferred; however, we are willing to train driven individuals with related skills and a strong work ethic. The Restoration Technician plays an important role in assisting customers as they recover from property damage in a timely and professional manner.

Responsibilities:

• Complete water mitigation, fire damage cleanup, mold remediation, and asbestos removal as required
• Operate hand tools and power tools for demolition, cleaning, and repair activities
• Perform carpet cleaning and additional surface restoration tasks
• Support construction and rebuilding efforts to restore structural stability
• Use specialized equipment for moisture detection, drying systems, and cleaning procedures
• Adhere to all safety guidelines to maintain a secure working environment
• Record job progress and maintain clear communication with team members and clients
• Keep work areas organized and ensure hazardous materials are handled according to industry regulations

Qualifications:

• Previous restoration industry experience is strongly preferred
• Understanding of cleaning practices, including carpet cleaning and mold remediation
• Knowledge of fire and water damage restoration procedures
• Asbestos abatement experience is beneficial
• Ability to safely use hand tools, power tools, and construction equipment
• Strong attention to detail and effective problem-solving skills
• Capable of working independently as well as collaboratively in a fast-paced setting
• Physically able to perform manual tasks, including lifting heavy materials and working in confined areas
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel locally to job sites
